Meet Our Staff

Rabbi Zinkin

Rabbi Zinkin founded Camp TBC in 2008 and currently serves as its Director. During the year, he is a Rebbe and Mashgiach Ruchani at Yeshivas Aish HaTorah in Jerusalem.

His vision for Camp TBC is to provide a high-quality camping experience infused with strong Torah values, a clear emphasis on middos—both on and off the court—and a unique ruach of achdus that unites the TBC community.

Rabbi Zinkin is passionate about bringing top-level sports leagues and exciting programming to camp, giving campers the opportunity to compete, grow, and develop their skills in an environment rooted in Torah values that stay with them long after the summer ends.

Rabbi Breslin

Rabbi Breslin brings years of experience in Jewish education and youth programming to Camp TBC. He served for eight years as a JSU Coordinator for New Jersey NCSY and as the Director of Student Activities at the Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy. He currently serves as the Director of Community Outreach and Devolpment at Shalom Torah Academy in Marlboro.

Rabbi Breslin’s creativity, enthusiasm, warmth, and professionalism have elevated the TBC experience for both campers and staff. We look forward to his continued leadership and involvement in every aspect of our program.

Dovid Oratz

Dovid brings a wealth of experience and passion for sports programming to Camp TBC. He has served as the Sports Director at Camp Kaylie for the past 15 summers and was previously the Sports Director at Camp Slapshots in Teaneck, NJ, for six summers.

Dovid’s expertise, energy, and professionalism have taken TBC sports to a whole new level—introducing exciting tournaments, dynamic leagues, and fresh, innovative ideas that keep our schedule packed with competitive fun all summer long.

Rabbi Schachter

Rabbi Schachter is back for his second summer as Camp TBC Chinuch Rebbe.

Rabbi Schachter grew up in Edison, NJ, and has always brought a deep passion for Torah and teaching to everything he does. After getting married, he and his wife moved to Springfield, where he served as a 10th grade Rebbe, giving a daily shiur with clarity and warmth. He has since returned to his hometown of Edison and is currently a member of the Highland Park Community Kollel.

We know Rabbi Schachter will continue to bring energy, warmth, and excitement to our learning this summer—helping Torah come alive for each and every camper.

Yaakov Gewirtz

Yaakov Gewirtz will be returning as our Aleph All Stars (1st and 2nd grade) Division Head.

During the year, Yaakov serves as the Pirchei Director of Monmouth Torah Links and delivers engaging shiurim for children of all ages across the Marlboro community. He is also the founder of “Hit It!”, a dynamic traveling game show that brings high-energy fun to camps throughout New Jersey.

Renowned for his remarkable ability to connect with children, Yaakov brings a unique blend of warmth, energy, and chinuch expertise to our youngest campers. We’re confident that under his dedicated leadership, our new division will thrive — inspiring and uplifting every child, every day.
